Who We Are
BarcelonaDanceXperience was born from the international vision of OPES DANZA , the national dance branch of OPES , led with passion and enthusiasm by National Coordinator Enrico Di Prisco . Following the success of major events in Italy, such as the International Excellent Competition held during the Roma Sport Experience , OPES DANZA decided to take its inclusive, educational, and community-building spirit beyond national borders, strengthening its European profile. Thus, starting in 2023, this extraordinary international event came to life in the beautiful tourist town of Lloret de Mar , just a few kilometers from Barcelona.
For four days, dancers from over 20 countries come together to experience a unique event , filled with competitions, workshops with internationally renowned masters, celebrations and meaningful connections, all in an all-inclusive format.

Mission
Organized by OPES , a non-profit organization recognized by the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI) , in collaboration with affiliated associations and public and private entities, BarcelonaDanceXperience promotes dance as a tool for personal growth , social inclusion, and intercultural dialogue . It is an event that combines performance, learning, and community in an inspiring, international, and unforgettable atmosphere. In line with OPES' mission to promote sport, culture, and education as tools for social development , the event promotes values such as teamwork, respect, and personal excellence , while encouraging participation and empowerment among all ages and communities.
Vision
The event embraces a wide range of dance styles, reflecting OPES' vision of inclusivity and artistic diversity:
- Academic dances : ballet, modern, contemporary, choreographic composition
